Concrete Oven Mitt Trivet

Born and raised outside Houston, Texas, Mike Garman combines his background in architecture and fine arts to create home goods that are equal parts functional and fun. After studying at the Rhode Island School of Design, he began experimenting with concrete as a creative medium, pushing it beyond traditional uses through years of trial, error, and refinement. Mike handcrafts each piece in small batches, often incorporated recycled glass and stone that are locally sourced near his Houston studio. His playful designs transform familiar forms into unexpected objects that bring artistry to everyday spaces.
