Born and raised in Racine, Wisconsin, Scott Obernberger traded his 18-year law career for a pottery wheel after a mini-stroke changed his perspective. Now, he creates functional art in his Jefferson studio, using natural clay and minerals inspired by traditional folk pottery and the arts-and-crafts movement. Scott's journey from hobbyist to full-time potter is a story of embracing creativity and finding joy in each handmade piece.

Beautiful and functional!

I got this for a Christmas gift and it's my new favorite mug. Not only does it keep my morning chai warm, but I can easily reheat my drink (when I inevitably get distracted at work and forget about it!). It's also so pretty to look at and very heavy duty. Love it!

misleading description

Shipping great, packing great, quality great BUT I needed a 20 oz tumbler which is what the description said-both of the tumblers that I received held less than 16 oz each. I compared this with a much cheaper one on Amazon but I went with yours because it looked so much prettier and better quality and stated 20 oz. I am very disappointed with the size! I had one just like this from my favorite tea house (whose potterer went out of business). My old one broke; I was so happy to find this replacement so similar to what I had but my old one held 21 oz. I did not mind the handmade differences in the two tumblers that I received-that felt special and both were beautiful! I would not have ordered them if I knew they would hold less than the stated, 20 oz.

I love my Travel Mug!!

My parents got me this ceramic travel mug, and I'm absolutely obsessed! The glaze is super unique, the seal works great and it fits perfectly in my car's cup holder. I was initially worried it might be fragile, but it's held up well through a few bumps so far!
