What Makes It Uncommon

You may be familiar with balsamic vinegar, but you’ve never seen anything quite like these handmade balsamic pearls imported right from Italy. Since the mid-19th century, vinegar farmhouse Acetaia Leonardi has grown the grapes for and produced the sweet, acidic condiment with techniques passed down through family for generations. Using a unique spherification process, they combine dark and white balsamic into small orbs with liquid centers that add the unmistakably complex flavor to pastas, salads, cheese boards, and all kinds of dishes.

I bought this as a gift for my step-dad

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my step-dad (one of many from Uncommon Goods.) The other gifts I got him were also food-themed to go with cheese, crackers, and bread. I bought this because I thought it was a super unique gift, as I'd never heard of these, and I thought they'd pair well with his usual snacks. I was right! He put them on some Brie cheese with crackers and thought they added the right touch to his snack. I also tried them and they're bursting with delicious flavor. Honestly I might try them on a salad next. #sweepstakes
