Born in Colombia and raised across three continents, Tulianna Garcés brings a global soul to everything she creates. In 1985, she left political unrest behind and began a new chapter in Vermont, using art to build bridges in underserved communities. What started as a one-woman mission to collaborate with artisans in conflict-affected areas grew into a mother-daughter venture with her eldest, Alejandra, spanning over a dozen communities. Together, they craft pieces that celebrate resilience, beauty, and the power of connection.

This necklace is such a fantastic statement piece at a size that makes it great for dressing up or down. I get a compliment from a stranger nearly every time I wear it out; about half of the people kind of recognize it as the earth and ask me for the story. The adjustable chain makes it even more versatile. Love this piece!

Lots of online jewelry is smaller when seen in person. I actually took a piece of paper and cut a circle the diameter noted in the description. It is a very nice size. It does not look like the size of a small pea. It is big enough to be seen and enjoyed. I get compliments each time I wear it. I almost exclusively wear gold or gold-toned jewelry and this piece fits the bill at a very reasonable cost. If you like gold (duh!) or like blue, buy this!
