Great across a span of Ages
I gave this to my granddaughters as a joint gift because I wasn't sure who would like it more. They are ages 10 and 6 and they both love it. It gives them a quiet activity to do together (so their parents love it too!) and while my daughter is making dinner, they spread it out on the table and it's so large that both girls have many areas to work on it. The markers work fine and of course it's a great way to teach kids some geography and trivia about each state.

Fun Map

Great product
My son is obsessed with states and countries, so this was a perfect gift for him. He really likes this tablecloth. We leave it out (we rotate with the world one) and sometimes when he's being unruly it's a great way to just calm him down. We haven't washed it yet because they are big, but really the enjoyment so far is great.

A lot of fun.
We purchased this for our grandchildren so they can see where their loved ones live and also look to see all of the states they have visited. Our granddaughter also loves the coloring part! Hours of fun for her.

Bought similar item last year and my niece loved it!
Last year I bought a similar item from Uncommon Goods as a Christmas for my 4 year old niece. She loved it and wanted to open it right away and get started coloring. I am hoping for the same reaction this year and this one will help her learn the 50 states so bonus!

Great idea
I bought this for my grandkids so that they will know where we are with our camper this winter. I'm giving to them for Christmas so can't comment on the quality yet, but it came very well packaged.

Is there information included that informs the name of the flower and animal of each state?

Great suggestion! The tablecloth is meant to inspire curiosity about each state but does not contain literature about the illustrations.

I understand the colors from the markers come off when washing the table clothes in the wash machine. I am wondering if the colors from the markers come off when wiping it down after use.

Does the color bleed through the back of the cotton?

With normal coloring very little or no color should go through. If you are coloring on a table or another non-machine-washable surface, you might want to use a protective layer if you are concerned that the surface is not readily wipeable, just in case any ink goes through the textile.
