Hosting Christmas
Lots of great nieces and nephews in the extended family and we are hosting the entire gang this Christmas. I think this will be a great hit, especially if the weather is bad. Cute, no hot glue needed, easy assembly. I'm excited myself!

Great quiet activity for little kids

Surprisingly Good
I bought this for my 4-year-old this year and I've been really pleased with the quality of this advent calendar. Each day's project is in a separate numbered wrapper so that the pieces stay together. Everything is a strong sturdy felt with adhesive backing so the assembly is mess-free and good for small hands to develop dexterity. The finished ornaments are much cuter than I anticipated. If I could give one criticism, it's with the instruction sheets. Each day comes with a small sheet of paper that outlines the ornament assembly in three images. The images are small (no bigger than 1.5inch square) and the print quality is low so I've struggled to see where some of the felt decorations go on the ornaments. There's a QR code on each instruction sheet as well and I had hoped that scanning it would lead us to a higher quality image on the manufacturer's website. Instead, the QR code is the same every day and just directs you to the e-commerce site of the company that makes the calendar. Overall, I have been pleased with the projects and my son is able to complete them without assistance. I wouldn't buy this a second time for my family unless the ornament designs changed from year-to-year but I would happily gift it to someone who hasn't done them before.

These little ornaments kits are so fun to do every day with my daughter. I look forward to them too! The ornaments are clever and fun as well, including all the classical holiday things, but also some cultural icons. Exceeded my expectations for sure.

Big hit!!
I sent this to my great nephew in Scotland and it was a huge success. He is 6 years old and enjoyed making an ornament each day. They were easy to assemble and well made- my niece reports high quality materials. I was surprised to see how nicely sized the finished product is when we face timed yesterday. Best advent calendar so far! I hope there is another one as good next year!

Absolutely perfect gift to welcome the Christmas season
My 3 and 6 year old grandchildren adore this advent calendar. They love making the ornaments and their excitement every day is palpable. And my daughter loves the gift, too. The materials are high quality and are ideal for small hands and creative minds. I want to get one of these, maybe with different ornaments?, for years to come.

I would buy this again and have bought it more than once.
I bought this kit to do with my grandchildren. Even small children can peel off the backing and put the pieces together easily. It is great for non messy busywork when you need it. When I taught elementary school art, I used to keep things like this available on my separate "free collage" table for children to do when they had finished working on their main projects. Older children can add embellishments like rhinestones or designs with markers. Some might take popsicle sticks and turn certain of the items into puppets. The only real clean up with these, is collecting small bits of recyclable paper which the children can do in a basket as they go along.

I'd give it 15 stars if I could!
I bought this so my great grandson could have a different ornament to open during advent. He's too small to make these himself (maybe next year with help) but I thought it would be fun for him. I had no idea how much fun it would be for ME to make them for him! They are so easy to assemble. My only constructive criticism is step-by-step images are too dark making it hard to see some of the details. But the quality of each ornament is terrific!!! I'm hoping there will be different ornament kit next year!!!

What are measurements to box these come in? And approx weight? I'm trying to decide if I'll be carrying on a trip to deliver in person or shipping to recipient.

Are there 25 bags, each containing the pieces & directions to make that specific ornament? Are the bags numbered 1-25 or does the child just grab whatever bag they want to make each day?

Hello! Yes! These are meant to be made and placed on your tree as the season moves forward all the way to the big day. You may store them alongside your other ornaments, being careful not to snag the fabric on any hooks, glitter, or beads.

Everything is included! The kit contains felt, ribbon, and self-adhesive felt stickers. The individual ornament pieces are in a clear bag and include a step by step picture guide. The pieces are pre-cut but that doesn't mean the maker has to follow the steps!

I'm trying to understand how there can be 25 ornament DIYs in this advent calendar. Is there really one every day? Or is it one every few days with some filler in between? I would love to see more detailed photos or reviews/instructions of how this works.

Thank you for your question! This calendar includes a DIY ornament for every day in December through Christmas, so 25 total. Each of the ornaments comes with picture instructions and the felt stickers are self-adhesive, so there is no glue needed.
