With Sri Lankan and Chinese roots, Sashee Chandran has always considered tea a pivotal ritual in her life. "I was always drawn to the intimate and communal nature of tea, and its ability to strengthen the bonds of friends and strangers alike," she says. Through her natural inclination to make, share, and talk tea with others, she came across many who found the traditional tea rituals too daunting or time consuming. Her tender drops initiate an all-encompassing experience with the rich taste and tradition of loose tea, and a pinch of raw organic sugar for a no-fuss preparation.

Sweetened Sampler Box: 7" L x 2.5" W x 2" H

Care

Use one tea drop per one cup of boiling water. Use a spoon to mix the tea for 5-10 seconds. Let the tea sit and dissolve for 30 seconds. Due to the use of genuine tea leaves, some sediment at the bottom is expected. To embrace the full experience and benefit from the antioxidants and nutrients, you may consume the tea leaves. If you prefer not to consume it, you can always filter the tea or set the last sip aside.

Love the convenience.

I am not a fan of sweetened tea, but overall the taste of these drops is pleasant. I do love the convenience of not having to deal with a soggy tea bag to make a cup of tea.

I "Have" Purchased this Product Again and Again!

My granddaughter absolutely loves the Tea Drop Samplers. I purchased one for her when she was stationed in Kuwait (a young Captain in the US Cavalry). She loves tea, but told me that the sampler was unusually awesome! What I didn't know at the time was, she liked it so much that she paced herself, using it only on special occasions. When I found this out, I decided she needed another one this Christmas. She is back in the USA enjoying her "awesome" Tea Drop Sampler!

Interesting idea but wrapped in plastic and very sweet

Nice idea but individual drops are in plastic wrapper (so seems silly to be saving on not having a tea bag) and the tea itself is really sweet. I watered down multiple times and still found it hard to drink. I won't be giving as a present as originally intended.

Cute idea, but really messy

Received this as gift from a friend who knew I love tea. Flavors were decent, but the amount of tea that floats in the cup really turned me off. I found I had to put it in a metal or paper strainer if I didn't want to drink a mouthful of leaves. Definitely not for someone who likes a "clean" cup.

Good flavors, so-so product

I wasn't gifted this specific sampler, but some full-sized tins of 3 of these teas. The flavors are great, but while the creator says she wanted to avoid the waste of tea bags, all of the individual drops are wrapped in plastic, so the eco-friendly element falls a little short. I also found it really hard to get the drops to dissolve well, so I started putting them in the basket of my single-serving coffee maker to brew them. That worked a lot better.
