Growing up in Asia, Lisa Li relished the joyful act of drinking tea with her grandmother: "Those moments were some of the most nourishing and healing times in my life." But as an adult in New York City, she found that her days were filled with stress and anxiety. It was a trip to Shangri-La that reset her perspective. There, she discovered the unique local flowers that Tibetan villagers use to make tea?and felt herself suddenly transported back to the simple, ritualistic moments of her childhood. After a year of researching family-owned organic farms in the mountains outside of Tibet and sampling hundreds of flowers to find the perfect combination of nutrients, aroma, and taste, she founded her company. Her hope? To spread holistic wellness and authentic moments of beauty through floral tisanes.
