This is my third one!

This set really is SMART. It's minimalist, chic, and multi-functional, and keeps your coffee HOT!! The previous review says it only keeps it 'warm' but you have to use it properly and you're fine. Make sure you're using the lid included and that you have it plugged in properly!! I tried to plug it into my laptop via USB port and I guess that the laptop doesn't have enough output to maximize the heating element which makes sense. I have one at home, one at work and one at my cottage so I that I don't have to travel with it.

Really Disappointed — just a super expensive phone charger

I thought this was such a great idea, but buyer beware. The phone charger works, but it doesn't keep hot drinks warm at all. First they tell you that it only heats the cup included, which is disappointing, but then it really doesn't keep that cup warm either. Basically it is an incredibly overpriced phone charger.

Great, Practical gift for any occasion!

I got this as a gift for my mom and she loved it. She takes so long to drink her coffee and regularly microwaves it throughout the morning. This coffee warmer helped out so much and even works as a phone charger as well!!!

Does the coaster always have to be plugged in in order for it to warm the mug, or does it have a battery life?
