Before your favorite couple goes off to start their life together, you want to make sure they have everything they need to make the most of every moment. Shelter, comfort and security are the three pillars of a happy home, all of which are encapsulated by the careful craftsmanship and beautiful detail of Heather Shadron's hand-thrown bowls. One sits snugly inside the other, completing the set as your loved ones complete each other. Inscribe up to 60 characters and a pattern (choice of fern or wave) onto a rich, vibrant base of black, chocolate, red, mazarine blue, or lime. Handmade in Georgia.

Personalization only available for the large bowl.

Inspired by her kinship with the natural world, Heather Shadron has been working in clay for more than two decades. She is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy and holds a BA from Hampshire College. Heather's use of color and textures can be traced to her life-long intimacy with the gardens and salt marshes of her Southern home, St. Simons Island.

This is a made-to-order item that ships directly from the maker. If you order today your item will ship no later than 8/20/2025.

Great bowls with a memory

We got a set of these bowls as a wedding gift and used them as part of our decor in our house. After 10 years, the color didn't go with our style and I didn't want to just get rid of them/the idea of them so got new bowls in colors that go with our decor now. Love the personalization and uniqueness of these bowls. Would highly recommend!

No, the pottery is not oven or microwave safe and we recommend hand washing the pieces.

Yes, all pottery is lead and cadmium free and only dinnerware safe glazes are used.

If you choose to supply a date for the large bowl the month and numbers of the dates will be spelled out. However, the date is optional.

Does the wave pattern have a design in the bottom of the bowl?

Thank you for you question. The wave patter has the design along the top edge and then on the inside of the bowl there is the calligraphy providing the personalized information. There are no other designs or patterns on this bowl.

The wave pattern bowls feature a solid color most of the way up, then a band of white waves, and a band of solid white around the lip. You can see an image of this design by clicking on the thumbnail on the far right under the main image.

Is there a choice of what is written on the inside or the color of the smaller bowl?

The couple's names and wedding date are written on the larger bowl, while the smaller bowl reads "Happily Ever After." You also have the option of selecting a fern or wave pattern. The main image on our site features the fern pattern, but you can view the wave pattern by clicking on the smaller image below.
