missing 11 years of headlines
Unfortunately when we received this expensive gift for our father, the book was missing 11 years missing of headlines. After connecting with Uncommon goods and after they connected with the creator of the book - we were told that there was nothing they could do. The 11 years included the 4 years when our father went to U of M so we were very sad about those pages not being in the book as they were the first pages that he looked for when receiving the gift. If you are thinking of purchasing this gift and you care about what years are included, I would suggest either not buying it or seeing if you can connect with the creator before purchasing to make sure your years are included.

Great gift
I purchased this for my stepfather for Christmas. He loves it. I don't have an issue with the quality of the print; some of these articles are almost 100 years old. You can only do so much with an old newspaper. It's very unique and it really is a great gift for any football fan. My issue is this -- I purchased express 1-day shipping. I was told that this would be received on December 24th. Christmas came and went with no package. I then received notification that it would be received on December 30th. Still no package. I then received ANOTHER email indicating that it had shipped and I should receive it in eight days. Not sure what happened to my 1-day shipping, but it never came to pass. The book was finally delivered on Jan 7. I realize it is made to order, but I would have appreciated honesty since my stepfather didn't have a gift at Christmas. Had I known, I could have at least wrapped something and put it under the tree for him. When I complained, they did refund my shipping costs, but that doesn't negate the fact that it was a disappointment. An apology would have been nice....

Such a fun gift for a sports fanatic!
After recently moving to GA, we have become huge Dawgs fan. I wanted something we could have forever that would remind us of this time in our lives as we continue our move south, but also something we could enjoy now. This book has been so fun to read and learn more about UGA!

Damaged but so easy to get a new one with no added cost
My dad loved this for his Christmas gift this year. He got out his magnifying glass to read the articles. I loved that we could add personal touches like his name and a special dedication. The first yearbook we received was damaged from shipping but it was so easy to replace it. I didn't even have to return the damaged one. Just had to press a few buttons and show pictures of the damage. No added charge. Really appreciated that as it was already December and there was lots going on!

Hubby was thrilled with this!
The quality was excellent. Gift for my 82 year old alumni husband. He loves all things from the Univ. of Tennessee. He was amused by the prices listed in the old ads. He remembered a LOT of those older games. His 82 year old eyes had a bit of a hard time with some of the fine print, but he has a magnifying glass, so it worked out.

Wasn't as great as I was expecting
Was pretty disappointed in this. Is a gift for my father in law but there really isn't as many articles as I was expecting, no directory or index either. The biggest most glaring issue to me right away was the fact it's missing the 2012/2013 years. It jumps from 2011 to 2014 and misses the undefeated season when they went to the National Championship. Seems like a HUGE chunk of history missing from the Notre Dame version.

For Notre Dame, the 2012 and 2013 seasons, including the undefeated 2012 regular season and National Championship appearance, were later vacated due to NCAA academic misconduct sanctions. Because those wins were removed from the official record, coverage from those years may be omitted or altered in the book. In some cases, content can also be affected by limitations in what was available in the newspaper archives at the time. Would not purchase again
Very disappointed in quality of newspaper articles in book. Some are blurry and all are hard to read because of small print. Not what I expected for the price at all.
