What Makes This Lasting Love Personalized Ceramic Platter Uncommon

There are gifts that mark just one occasion, but others are special enough to tell a whole story. Jeanette Zeis' heirloom-worthy stoneware platter pairs thoughtful craftsmanship with a deeply personal touch. Jeanette carves a tender message at the top of the blooming border, then hand-stamps custom names below, creating a keepsake that celebrates newlyweds, anniversaries, engagements, and the moments that bring people together.

  • Personalized with two names, with up to 12 characters per name.
  • Features the phrase "a love to last" carved and inlaid across the top of the platter.
  • Custom names are hand-stamped and inlaid by the artist.
  • Crafted from stoneware clay.
  • Measures 12" diameter.
  • Handwash only.
  • Handmade in Oregon.

Jeanette Zeis is a potter based in Portland, Oregon. Having moved to the Pacific Northwest from Atlanta, Georgia, Jeanette is trying to balance long hikes in the woods with a productive pottery studio practice. A full-time potter since 2008, Jeanette says "it is a constant source of awe and education." If she isn't actually making pots, chances are pretty good that she is thinking about making pots. She hopes that her pottery pieces will be passed on for generations, becoming a treasure heirloom.

The holidays are about the people at the table, and the right gift makes that easier to say out loud. Holiday meals are a lot of work, and the right piece of kit takes some of the effort out of it. Our selection of unique Christmas gifts has plenty more worth considering.

Most lists split fairly neatly by recipient, which makes them quicker to work through. Start with our gifts for men, then move on to our gifts for women.
