What Makes These Handmade Glass Garden Stakes Uncommon

Whooooo’s hiding among the hydrangeas? Toni Chirico's watchful little garden companions perch on slender stakes, bringing a pop of kiln-fired color to outdoor spaces with wide eyes, bright wings, and glassy texture that catches the light. Handmade in fused glass, each owl has its own delicate shifts in color and detail, so your garden gets a character all its own.

Toni Chirico

Toni Chirico is a self-taught artist based in Chapin, South Carolina. Originally an oil painter, Toni's journey as a glass artist began at a Charleston restaurant when a beautiful piece of stained glass caught her eye. Upon closer inspection, she found out that it was actually richly colored fused glass, and she told her husband right there she was going to learn the technique. "That Monday I ordered what I needed, and within six months I had a full-time business!" Toni's vibrant pieces reflect the beauty of Hilton Head Island and her own passion for art that "brings smiles to people's faces." Her studio is a family affair, with her sons pitching in when they're home and her husband usually joining her every day after work.
