Juliet Meeks is a watercolor artist based in her hometown of New Orleans. Her artistic and entrepreneurial career began in high school when she started sewing and selling her handmade clothes at local art markets. Juliet's journey has taken various turns since then, from making handmade jewelry with vintage postage stamps to the watercolor illustrations and patterns she produces today. She enjoys painting florals because of their organic shapes and opportunity as an avenue for color exploration. Most days, you'll find Juliet in her studio with her dog Roxy, dreaming up new pattern ideas, teaching classes for other artists, and sharing her process along the way.

Measurements

Care

Trim wick to 1/4" (7mm) before lighting. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from drafts, pets and children. Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface, away from flammable objects. Do not keep the candle in direct sunlight, or near heaters or fireplaces, as this may cause candle to deform and/or change color. This candle is drip-resistant, however unfavorable conditions may lead to dripping. Burn time: 3+ hours

I am also disappointed

The design and size seems right to me but the packaging appears to make the candle look dingy with areas of the candle smudging the clear plastic cover and making it look like dust has collected on the candle.. So I am not crazy about giving it as a gift but will have to explain to the recipient that this is how it came.

This is beautiful birth month candle.

I thought it would have been a little bigger but I still love it. My birthday is in January, so is my daughter and granddaughter. When I light it I think of all three of us. I am pleased with my purchase.

Disappointing

I gifted this candle to my daughter for her June 9 birthday. I purchased it because of the description as a birth month flower, however there is no description on the package stating that so she didn't know it was supposed to be for her birth month (especially since June's birth flower is actually the rose). Additionally the candle is quite small and doesn't seem like it will burn too long. Overall this was a disappointing purchase but since it was so close to her birthday, I didn't want to take a chance returning it. In hind sight, I should have returned it.

Thank you for your review! We're sorry that the maker's card was not included. June is one of the only months that has two birth month flowers. Roses are a sign of affection while honeysuckles represent happiness and positive energy!
