Awesome Plant!
I ordered this lime tree, not thinking about the weather. It snowed the day it was delivered. I had very little hope for it, to be honest, but it has absolutely flourished. I don't know if it's the way it was packaged, but this is a tough, healthy little tree. We named him Limus. :) #sweepstakes

Nice plant, but still no blooms a very months later
I got this for my mom for Mother's Day. She loves it! The plant itself is doing well other than not producing any blooms yet. It's been three months, so it may just be very slow. #sweepstakes

They're finally starting to bloom!
We've had this for about a month now, and after weeks of sunlight and water, tiny flowers are starting to form! We can't wait for them to turn into limes. So far everything is working as promised!

Absolutely lovely gift
This was a beautiful gift and I was thrilled to find it for sale. I needed it delivered because I'm far away and it was easy to buy online and ship to where it needed to go. My mother was very happy to receive it.

Great gift for mom
Purchased for my mother in Florida. The lime tree is doing well so far sprouting new leaves. She brings it inside on cooler days.

Super Tiny
I ordered this as a gift for my SIL, who loves key limes and just lost her mother. The idea was that this could be planted in the yard (they live in FL) and would be a living reminder of her mother, as well as produce delicious fruit. However, this was only 5-6 inches tall at receipt and even after repotting and 5!months of growth is probably still too small to plant outdoors. It's healthy and bearing flowers, and someday it may fulfill its original intent, but beware what the recipient receives isn't representative of what's shown online.

Sweet present for Mom's Bday
Got this for my mom for her birthday. She loves using lime in cooking and making drinks and I thought that this would be so cute. She loved it! It hasn't produced limes yet, but she was so excited to start caring for it.

Hi - can you please tell me the botanical/species name for your key lime tree? Is it a dwarf key lime tree (Citrus aurantifolia)?
Verified reply from Sofia
Hello! Great question! The botanical name for our Key Lime tree is Citrus aurantifolia. They are not the dwarf variety, but they do keep to size when pruned. Depending on the season, our trees range approximately 18-22 inches tall and 6-8 inches wide, and they are shipped in standard black one-gallon growing pots. You can prune your tree to keep it in the original pot, or, if you repot it into a larger pot every year, the tree could eventually grow to sizes of 10 feet or higher over several years. We hope this helps!

What grow light would work for the indoor key lime tree? Live in NJ and can't guarantee 6 hpurs of sun/day every day. Also, if away for a week, what watering device do you recommend for auto tree watering while away?
Verified reply from Angelica
A full-spectrum LED grow light would be ideal to supplement sunlight. We recommend leaving it on for no more than 12 hours a day to mimic summer sunlight. Make sure to follow the grow light's manual about distance as too much exposure could cause drought and/or leaf burn. As for watering while you're away, consider a self-watering device like a drip irrigation system or a watering globe. These can help maintain moisture levels in the soil while you're not there.

Does it arrive in a box? If so, how long can it stay in the packaging? Wanting to buy for xmas, but need to know how soon before xmas I need to order it.
Verified reply from Jasmine
It arrives in a regular packing box. It can stay in the box until the recipient receives it. The best thing to do is pick express or expedited shipping so that the tree won't come damaged.

Approximately how long until the tree bears fruit?
Verified reply from Allison
The trees are delivered ready to bloom! If your tree doesn't have any fruit or flowers on it, don't worry! Your plant will be ready for the next stage and often blooms within only months. It may take up to 6 month for the fruit to mature- then it starts the cycle again!

How tall do the key lime trees grow to?
Verified reply from Allison
Our Key Lime, Meyer Lemon, and Calamondin trees will grow to the limit of the container they're in. You can prune your tree and keep it in the original pot OR if you keep repotting every year into a larger pot, you could eventually reach sizes of 10ft or higher (over several years).
