Fun but decisive
Our gnome-be-gone tends to split opinions. I love it and several friends find it funny. Other, much less so. Not much middle ground. After just a free weeks it's rusting so I'm not sure about it's long term looks.

Makes my wife laugh!

Well crafted and will make the recipient light up with joy!
Outdoor in a flower bed. Love the unique design and the symbolism, wish I would have thought of the idea. I was surprised by the size, bigger than expected. Other size options would be a bouns, smaller and bigger. It is my opinion that this product will hold up for many years.

Pretty cool
I definitely thought it was pricey, but a splurge for a gift. No doubt it's incredibly unique and very awesome. The gnome is not secure, the top piece is a flat bar and the gnome is oddly shaped, so it does not sit safely atop. I recommend rigging something or finding some way to keep it from blowing off, maybe wire or double sided grip tape so the gnome has a better surface. Haven't used it long, cannot say how durable or weatherproof it is.

This yard art fits my sense of humor!
The Gnome Gnappers appear as they did in the photo and I am so pleased with them. My husband calls them the Langoliers (Stephen King). Since it is getting towards winter I have taken it to work to decorate my desk. Some Co-Workers have mentioned they want one too.

Does Fred continue to make the gnome be gones once they sell out? I noticed in the FAQs that some questions were from 2011. So these look like a good seller to continue the making of these. Also, sounds like the gnome is very fragile, what's it made of - ceramic? Is there a plastic version? Thank you!

We are expecting more Gnome-Be-Gones! Like many of his brethren, the gnome is ceramic. Unfortunately there isn't a plastic version.

Thinking of purchasing for daughter's housewarming gift. Does the shipping box give away what is inside? Don't want it given away until I can see her open. Plan on visit in about 10 days & have to fly so didn't want to bring with.

The external box will say UncommonGoods, but it will not indicate which items are in the package. We love hearing that our goods are making great gifts, so we want to be as gift-giver friendly as possible! The packing slip will not include the price, and you have the option of selecting to add a free gift message at checkout.
