“I love it when people are excited to own work I have created.”
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Scott Johnson was introduced to the artist's life as a child, as he worked with and learned from his father, a sculptor. His first job, at the age of 12, was working in his dad's bronze foundry. Scott was fascinated, watching the molten bronze being poured into glowing hot molds. Throughout high school, he assisted master craftsmen. After years of working with bronze and ceramic, Scott switched to glass and metal. He and his wife, Shawn, now create together in their Arizona studio. "I love it when people are excited to own work I have created," he says.

Beautiful glass flowers1
I have this beautiful glass centerpiece by a window in my kitchen. The window faces another building. Instead of looking at bricks, I now enjoy well crafted, colorful glass flowers brightening up my space. It's a pleasure walking into the room!

The flowers are very pretty and colorful and both sturdy and delicate. I love the way they screw into a stem providing the ability to change the colorful flower heads. I bought the larger sized one and it looks great on my dinning room table. Love it!

I love finding unique gifts!
I bought this as a gift for my mother - it can be hard finding the perfect gift, but these looked adorable and I kept coming back to them. She loved them and has them on her table as a centerpiece. This was something that I bought to brighten up our kitchen table area and I was not disappointed - in fact, the beauty and craftsmanship exceeded my expectations This could be a wedding gift, a housewarming gift or a "just because" gift (like I did for myself).
