Melanie Ponchot began her career as a classically trained painter, then took a few years off to raise her three kids. Struck by how much fun she had drawing with crayons, she pivoted to illustration and hasn't looked back. The Georgia native now teaches drawing classes and works from home, focusing on unlearning the rules of traditional painting and instead making physical and digital pieces that feel fun and free-spirited.

The customization was great, although just a bit difficult to navigate. I wasn't sure how to make changes and ended up starting over several times. However, I adore the results - better in person than on the proof, because I can see it in the frame and to scale. My husband loves it
