Known as Mứt Rau Câu in Vietnamese, the gemstone-like treats are typically served during Vietnamese Lunar New Year celebrations to bring luck, health, and wealth to whoever eats them. In an exclusive collaboration with Uncommon Goods, Gia’s created a nine-piece collection of flavorful jewels with dazzling accents inspired by different gems.

Amazing glittery goodness I DEFINITELY recommend

As soon as I purchased the Crystal Candy Gem Collection, I could not stop thinking about the delicious candy jewels that were soon to come to my doorstep. It's array of flavors gave me endless options of candy goodness to enjoy, from citrusy chomps and berry bites, and everything in between. Not to mention the beautiful gem appearance got me wondering, did I get rare sparkly jewels or delicious candy? I got both! The sugary crisp shell hides a fun jelly texture that everyone can enjoy! If you're a crystal enthusiast or if you just love sugary delights, I definitely recommend this product.

I really loved this product

After seeing the SilkyGems in the catalogue, I couldn't stop thinking about them, so I decided to treat myself for Valentine's Day. They are very pretty, individually-wrapped within the box, and the textures are super-satisfying. The flavors are very nice; my favorite is the coconut pineapple.

Absolutely beautiful but the taste is meh

These gelée type candies are stunning beautiful. Most pieces have two textures: a crunchy rock crystal type on top and a softer gummy or jelly texture on the bottom. They are so pretty but the flavors are not great. Or, I should say lack of flavor. One or two of them had nice fruit flavors that were very mild, but most of them just tasted like sugar. So if you like to just eat plain sugar flavored gummy candies then you will like these. But after being wowed by the look of the candies, I was very disappointed in the taste.

Beautiful but lacking in flavor

I love the packaging for these, and they're so pretty to look at. Unfortunately, I found the flavor to be very one-note. For instance the yuzu? I was expecting a citrus-y smell and taste but it was barely there The blood orange was similar. Just sugar, with a weird crunch + gel texture. And no, I don't have COVID. lol
