Young sailors begin the adventure by piecing together an easy-to-build boat from included natural materials, like cork and hemp. Once complete, they’ll use found objects from nature or around the house to upgrade their vessel before casting off on the maiden voyage.

  • Kit includes everything needed to build a working sailboat except for the sail.
  • Kids are encouraged to use the material of their choice for the sail from either household items (like napkins, fabric, etc.) or nature (like leaves, bark, etc.).
  • Young designers can upgrade their vessels by adding found or foraged objects to the hull.
  • Built with cork for buoyancy and durability, the boat is water-ready for excursions along small streams, fountains, and lakes.
  • Includes a hemp-made cord-like leash so kids never accidentally abandon ship.

A gift that promotes imagination

I bought this as a gift for a three year old. They loved it and immediately started looking for items for the sails and decorations. Once done, we were looking again both inside and out for more decoration materials. It was a lot of fun watching.them play with the boat and it's very seaworthy!
