Kaelin Tillery and Richard Duggan like to say that the universe tried to throw them together a number of times before it actually worked out. They met in multiple cities, through several different people, before they eventually “realized that resistance was futile and agreed to meet over a cliché cup of coffee. (Feel free to insert your own sappy music and soft-focus camera angle right here.)”

First they forged a friendship, but that turned into a marriage, a house, a family of random animals, and business together. “We did the logical thing,” they explain, “and put our art educations together and began designing.” Each of those designs starts out as a pencil sketch, then they ink their illustrations and prepare them for screen printing in their studio in Denver—the city “the universe” finally settled them in.

Adorable! Also great for hot pans

I bought these as a gift for my Dad, the chef and feline aficionado, but have had a chance to use them myself as well. Most importantly, they are adorable, and pair well with the cat spoon rest. Also, they are flexible, easy to clean, and keep your fingers cool.

Father's Day gift from the cats!

Perfect gift for a cat daddy who loves to cook! The mitt is super soft inside, and looking at the different cat expressions on them makes us smile while working away in the kitchen. Our old potholder and mitt were getting very worn and dirty. Finding these was a great opportunity to replace them.
