Unique Gift Idea
This came exactly as expected. I was trying to come up with a unique birthday gift for someone who literally has everything! When my friend opened the gift, she was immediately intrigued by the packaging. Once she saw she could grow her own sunflowers, she was so excited as sunflowers are her favorite. It was something she had never thought of doing and having the kit made it so simple to do. Would definitely recommend as it is a completely unexpected gift!

Somewhat disappointed!
The instruction were well written and I followed them! But I should have just put the seeds directly into my garden, transplanting them (some where quite fragile). The few flowers that are growing are doing well.

We love sunflowers but only 2 of these are growing- the rest died. Not sure yet if the 2 remaining will produce flowers

Wonderful winter gift for the gardener in your life.

Do you have to start growing these inside? Or can you wait until spring and start growing outside?

Hi! You can start them sprouting in the egg carton (place the top under the bottom as a little drip container), and then replant when they get to be about 3 inches or you may plant the seeds no more than 1 inch deep about 6 inches apart after the soil has thoroughly warmed, from mid-April to late May.

Hi Cat! You can start them sprouting in the egg carton (place the top under the bottom as a little drip container), and then replant when they get to be about 3 inches! They need a little space, so we would not do them all in one pot.
