What Makes This Reclaimed Wood Serving Board & Cloche Uncommon

A Noble Presentation

This stunning set makes even simple croissants look supreme. Serve a homemade pie or spread of pastries on the ample board, which is expertly carved from the wood of old Hungarian buildings and finished with natural beeswax and mineral oils to bring out its unique grain. Paired with the glass cloche and hammered metal handle, it's a stunning presentation and gift for newlyweds or new homeowners. The store-bought baked goods: That'll be our secret. Recommended for same-day serving only. Not intended for storage. Designed by Stacy Borocz. Made in Hungary.

Due to the recycled and handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary.

“Creating pieces is all about curating a life well-lived—one that we believe is best enjoyed around food, wine, friends, and family.”

Inspired by the time she spent living in Hungary, Stacy Borocz—now Georgia-based—sources her wood from 19th century homes, barns, and warehouses in Budapest that are scheduled to be demolished. "The architecture is spectacular and comprises a unique blend of old and new. It's a feast for the eyes and the soul," she says. "Creating pieces is all about curating a life well-lived; one that we believe is best enjoyed around food, wine, friends, and family. And, most importantly, one that is rooted in the classics, and sustainably procured."

Our gifting team spends the whole year looking for presents that surprise people, and the holidays are when that pays off. A gift that gets pulled out every week beats one that gets admired once. Keep going with our unique Christmas gifts and work through the whole list in one sitting.

Gift lists are easier to finish when they are grouped by who is getting what. Between our gifts for men and our gifts for women there is something for the whole table.
