I purchased this compass as a gift. Little did I know the recipient has planned a hiking trip very soon and needs a compass. Absolutely breathtaking!
I ordered this for my 13-year-old grandson. He had expressed interest in having a "real" compass. I saw this in Uncommon Goods and it seemed like something he would like. Perfect gift
I recently went through a "rough patch" personally. I packed up my belongings and moved to a small mountain town in the high country of North Carolina where I knew no one. I met three women during the first few weeks. Over the past 2 years, each of them touched my life in ways that helped me through my grief and fear of starting over. In other words each of them helped me "course correct" my life, putting me on a better path. This year, as Christmas approached, I wanted to give each of them something to let them know how much I appreciated their unique contributions. These women helped me discover my "true north" again! I saw these compasses in an online advertisement and thought what better way to acknowledge them than with something which helps us all keep moving through life in the right direction! To expressed my deep gratitude, I wrote a sweet message sharing the "gift" each of them gave me. The compasses arrived and are GORGEOUS. I can't wait to see there faces when the read the inscription.
