She dabbled in various art forms before discovering her current medium in the early 2010s. A serendipitous encounter with a wooden owl on a greeting card sparked her creativity, inspiring her to blend hand-drawn illustrations with laser cuts. After studying at the Oregon College of Art and Craft, Chelsea honed her craft, transforming her passion into a family-run business in Portland.
