For Jessica Leff, crafting is personal. She began making therapeutic wraps for her mom when she was diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension and Raynaud?s phenomenon, and felt the illnesses? chilling effects. Jessica describes: ?A warm wrap around my mom?s body or over her eyes helped calm her nerves and kept her warm. It was a warm hug when I couldn't be there.? Now Jessica brings this comforting mission to her work with all-natural materials made in her New Hampshire farmstead.

Care
HOT: Warm your heart in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, give it a shake, continue in 1 minute increments until desired temperature is reached, or place on a cookie sheet in a 250 degree oven for 2-3 minutes
COLD: Place in freezer, in a plastic bag, and use when desired temp is reached (can take up to two hours)

Great gift for my grandmother
My grandmother is in a nursing home and uses a wheel chair. The microwaving option was perfect so she does not need to deal with the cords of a heating pad.

Good for the heart and hands
My good friend was recently diagnosed with cancer and has begun chemo treatments. She has to have her hands and feet on ice for the 2 hour infusion to mitigate the side effect of neuropathy. Needless to say, after literally "chilling" her hands, she tells me it's pure magic to be home and heating up her "hopeful heart" to get those fingers warm again!

How do you clean it

Great question! The best way to clean the Heart of Hope Lavender Warming Pillow since it doesn’t come with a cover is to spot clean it- very light wet cloth with a little bleach. You don’t want a lot of bleach on the cloth because you wouldn't want it to overwhelm you.
