Over 40 years ago, Barb Schmidt (Peaceful Barb) began a practice of meditation and self-care. She later started a morning ritual of sharing positive intentions, affirmations, and inspiration with her daughter, Michelle Maros. After studying and working in Chicago and New York, Michelle returned home and together, she and Barb founded Peaceful Mind Peaceful LifeĀ®. Rooted in compassion, their nonprofit offers practical tools grounded in a powerful philosophy: Small, intentional steps can lead to lasting change. MY FRIEND LOVE IT!
I bought this for a friend as a birthday gift. She recently lost someone very dear to her & sometimes she would catch herself crying. She works from home & the isolation sometimes get to her. The messages she gets daily from this mug gives her something positive to look forward to. She loves it! She sometimes shares the messages with me. Love it!

Gift for Mom
My mom loved this as a Christmas present. I was hesitant because she's particular about the kinds of mugs she drinks out but she uses this every day. It was also easy to get the inspirational messages. I didn't even have to help her figure that out! I bought it along with a couple other things as part of a mindfulness/relaxation themed gift.

The mug is good quality and meditations are relevant and helpful. I'm enjoying it. My only concern if that it may fade in the dishwasher or that at some point the meditation QR links will expire.
