What Makes It Uncommon

As bedtime approaches, dads know that reading to their babies helps gently lull them to sleep while fostering a precious bond between father and child. Capture this tender moment with a personalized storybook starring Dad and his little one as the main characters. In addition to their names, the adventure features illustrated versions of them that share their likeness, from skin color and hairstyle to eyewear and even facial hair (just for dads, of course).

Submit a child's name for insertion into one of three book title options: Child's First Father's Day with Dad, Child's Father's Day with Dad, or Child's Magical Moments with Dad.
Your little one's name (and nickname, if applicable) will appear throughout the book.
Select a proper noun, like "Dad," "Daddy," "Papa," "Baba," "Papi," or write your own.
Customize the father and child illustrations by picking their skin color, hair color and style, headwear, eyewear, and more.
Made in Minnesota.

Made Dada Tear Up

This book is great! I was researching a few options and decided that I felt most comfortable purchasing through Uncommon Goods. But the book is beautiful 😍 Such a great way to capture the special bond between my son and my husband and something they can share for years to come.

Ordered twice, both times received the wrong customization

Cute idea, but after ordering it twice, they still couldn't get the dad's skin color correct (I requested both baby and father's skin tone to be the lightest color). They just sent me a replacement book in the mail, and it's still incorrect. I can't believe they got it wrong three separate times!

Super sweet but gender definitely leans boy

This is a really sweet story, but I was surprised by how much the gender looks like a boy despite not having the ability to actually choose the gender. It's a baby, so I couldn't pick longer hair, but all of the colors and facial features looked more boyish than gender neutral. It's really hard to see our little girl in the story. I wish there was a feature to choose. The curly hair option showed one strand of baby hair, so was also surprised by a whole head of it. Still a cute book overall.

Wonderful First Fathers Day gift

We loved the book and the personalization details throughout the book were well thought out! Great story for first time dads. My only complaint would be that one of the appearance details was wrong - it was supposed to be baby straight and was personalized with child straight.
