It's hard to adjust when a new sibling comes into your life! This book is helping my grandson see his new brother as the friend he will grow to be! I do wish there were more choices for skin tone.

Is the skin tone depicted in the sample book the light skin tone or the medium?

Hi! The cover of the sample book features the medium skin tone. The open page shown behind the cover will show examples of the light and dark skin tones as well.

For the personalized portion regarding skin tone - are the pictures and samples of the children shown representative of the light or medium tone? The graphic looks pink for "light," so I just want to confirm before I order.

The skin tones as pictured in the personalization options are the only options for the custom children. Other characters in the book may have skin tones that are not options for the main characters.
