Agatha and Steve Luczo founded Bona Furtuna in 2013 with a dream of preserving Sicilian heritage, culture, and history while giving back to the land and its people. Nestled on the slopes of Monte Barrau not far from Corleone, the 300-hectare organic farm produces premium olive oil, honey, and other fare while preserving food heritage, promoting sustainable farming, enriching the area's biodiversity, and creating employment opportunities. The farm is home to more than 12,000 olive trees, including the ancient Biancolilla Centinara species, which Bona Furtuna brought back from the brink of extinction.

Bona Furtuna received B Corp certification in 2022, joining companies like Uncommon Goods in a global movement that's using business as a force for good. As a member of 1% for the Planet, Bona Furtuna has pledged to contribute 1% of all sales to the preservation and restoration of the environment.
