She grew up in a small town in rural Wisconsin and studied architecture at the University of Michigan, earning numerous academic honors and awards. After working as an architect in New York City, she eventually launched her own design business. Her work ranges from large ship-shaped kites to quilts featuring coastal shorelines. At the heart of each project is a sense of playfulness that feels both timeless and boundless.
