I absolutely love my serving stand. Have gotten so many compliments on it. It's gorgeous. It was worth the wait.

Incredibly fragile and expensive
Purchased for a friend who loved the idea of it. It is already wobbly at baseline when on the side for chips and dip, but she didn't mind it too much given it's handmade glass supposedly and works perfectly when we used to serve her cake. The slight irregularity was charming. However, when she later when to clean it (after ONE use), she had just picked it up regularly (did not drop it), and the thing broke with a clean split down the middle. It's likely this piece has structural weaknesses in the glass or was not properly annealed (After a piece of glass is blown, it needs to cool slowly and evenly in an annealing oven. If this process is rushed or not done properly, internal stresses can remain in the glass). Sadness for what could have been a perfect and fun gift….now seems a waste of money.
