Spills water everywhere

I rarely leave reviews but this item is terrible, so I felt the need to share my recent experience. The video and idea for this item are great until you try to use the product for holding your plants as you water them. The sides are not rigid. There is no way to shape the edges into stable walls, so as water collects, it will make its way to the edges. My floor got all wet. Forget trying to pick up the item filled with even a small puddle of water because it sloshes around. More spills and more time cleaning up. For the review that mentions using this product for just repotting, I imagine it works fine since the soil will stay in place. And if you're using this outdoors, the water spilling is potentially less of a problem. I don't recommend this item for watering your plants indoors. Time to find another product.

I have used this far more times than expected

Okay, I was reluctant to buy something that seemed so luxurious but I have gotten so much use about it. It's waterproof, portable, durable, well-designed and large. If I had to make any one improvement, it would be increasing the number or strength of the buttons/clasps that give it such a useful container shape.

Multiple uses, indoors and out, make this mat indispensable

I am impressed with the quality and simplicity of this potting mat. Its size is generous and its thick surface holds flat and cleans easily. The mat rolls up and snaps together with a hook is at the end making for easy storage. I liked this mat so much that I bought more for gifts and two more for myself. The mat is also useful for small outdoor garden projects, holding weeds or soil and even garden tools to make for quick cleanup.
