Finally, My Spaghetti is Correct
I have always made too much or too little spaghetti for my family or a crowd. Now, with the Perfect Portion Spaghetti Measurer, I am getting it correct. I LOVE this. The quality of the wood is fantastic. It's solid wood, not flimsy, has a great grain and is beautifully marked. It is attractive enough that I leave it on my counter with other utensils of high quality. I have purchased 5 for friends and am sure when Christmas comes I'll get more. It's a perfect and very unusual gift.

Disappointed
I received mine last week and was very disappointed. Although the wood itself is beautiful, the wording was not centered as in the picture. It really messed up the look. I did email and have yet to receive a response - hence this review. You really should have some sort of quality control in place. Apparently too much trouble to exchange - I guess I'll keep for myself :( . I had an issue before and they fixed the problem quickly. Not happy at the moment. Over the years, I've purchased items and never had a problem.

Yes, I would buy this again and again
Years ago I had a plastic spaghetti measure and was looking for another to avoid having to pile pasta on a kitchen scale. I've seen crosses made of olive wood at church bazaars, and the color and glow are beautiful. So I got a spaghetti measure for myself. Then I put together an Italian food basket for a raffle and ordered another. Now the spaghetti measure is a " go to" gift that is thoughtful and appropriate for just about anybody, whether they are a gourmet cook or someone who looks for easy meals to make. Think of it: at this price you can give a gift that will be useful for years, beautiful, and looks far more expensive than it is.
