Don't waste your money
Not sure why I didn't believe the reviews I read about the lights not working. The lighting element is broken, which is really the main feature of the toy.

Sensory jar - recommended it not stay filled for over 24h
I got this jar for my daughter to use when she is upset and needs time to calm down or relax. Upon receipt and opening the package, I realize the item is designed to be filled with water for no longer than 24 hours, which is a bizzare concept. Is the intent you will fill it with confetti and trinkets at the time your child is throwing a temper tantrum? Disappointed in this purchase.

Glo Pals light-up cubes activate when placed in liquid containing ions, but it's important to remove and dry them after use to prolong their lifespan. According to the manufacturer, removing the pals from liquid, shaking off excess water, and allowing them to dry can help increase their longevity. To turn off the Glo Pals in the sensory jar, simply turn the jar upside down.

Cute for younger kids! But needs an off switch
These are cute for younger kids. I bought for my 7 year old and her two sibling (4,2). You're suppose to turn it upside down to turn off the light. It would be better with a switch. It's basically a snow globe with lights and handles. I would recommend to 6 and under. Over 7 there's not much "fun"

Nice, but doesn't work as promoted
I love the idea of this product, as does my granddaughter, but it does not light up! Which really makes it the fun product it should be. Sad that is doesn't work as advertised.

We have one calming jar at grandmas and one at kiddos'house
What a great idea! Even when they don't "need" the jar, the grandkids like to look at it. It works!

Waste of money
Bought this and my child liked it, but it didn't work well. It started leaking at 2 weeks and then the lights weakened and stopped working. Changed batteries and still didn't work, had to throw it away.

Excellent solution for toddler (or adult?) meltdowns
Distraction and redirection are key and this Sensory Play Jar serves up both. It's sturdy construction should hold up well to toddlers. I like the different types of 'floaties' that come with it and also that the contents can be changed later. Who doesn't like to watch changing, moving, glittery stuff?? Maybe a great Mom Stress Reliever Jar!

Great product
We love this product-the only negative is that its meant to drain and refill, not to be out daily. We wish it came with an on/off switch because the battery dies so fast. Our 4 year old loves this as a calming tool. The fillers are adorable!

The product says it's childproof- can someone describe how so? I'm wondering if my 10 year old autistic son can open it or not.
Verified reply from Itamar
Great question, the lid is designed to be tight and waterproof and will need to be handled by an adult. Please ensure you help any little one with all steps of this project.
