Fun fishy fact: the very first sardine canning factory was founded in the Portuguese town of Setubal in the 1880s. For a humble fish, they’ve had a huge impact on food, culture, and industry throughout history, especially along the Mediterranean coastline. Inspired by the three-fish motifs found throughout Portugal, maker Kelly Neistat adds a simple, elegant twist to the iconic sardine stack, then embroiders it on a buttery soft 100% cotton shirt.
