A great way to stay in touch with grandkids

The enclosed cards have wonderful ideas for letters to send back and forth with grandkids. However, I think my granddaughter is still a bit too young to appreciate it, so I will wait a couple years to use this.

Great, fun prompts, encourages communication

We purchased for grandparents to write our daughter. So far, we have received one letter from our Mimi and replied. The prompts are nice and the design is fun. We love it! I have a 4 year old doing the replying, so this is perfect for her verbalizing what she wants me to write and mail back with any drawings or photos. We are loving this and it is perfect for us so far! If I had older children, I would love to see some extra lined sheets to reply on, like a few extra sheets of stationery, to be mailed with the letters from the person initiating the correspondence. Overall, recommend for anyone looking to just touch base in a fun way and stay connected long-distance!

Grandparents and grandchildren are separated by the pandemic

The child is a little young to write on her own, and this gift to the family encouraged her to help her sister write and to write her own letters or emails to their grandparents. Anything that gets an adolescent to write more has been helpful. Since there are just a few cards in the set, adding a list of suggested "writing prompts" (ideas of questions or topics for additional letters) in the package might also be helpful.

Fun, unique and Adorable!

This has been so sweet and fun for my kids and parents, who are quite old, to get to have some connection during a time when we can'g visit htem in person, due to Covid. It is special, and I know we'll hold on to the letters forever.

Great concept and fun for all

Great idea and my daughter loves getting mail and it's a fun way to stay in touch with out of state grandparents....a little disappointed in the "postcards" as you need to enclose in an envelope. Also wish more envelopes were included for response letters

Good quality

This is a nice set, good size and quality. We gave it to my mom for Christmas. Her pen pal can't wait to start sharing notes! This will be a nice keepsake also. We plan to photo copy the notes so each pen pal has a set.

Not worth the money

This is a very cute idea, but there is hardly anything in it. Only 4 cards to send and a tic tac toe game. Very disappointing.

Were we supposed to buy two sets, one for grandparent and one for grandchild? We gifted this to the grandparent out of state and, having received the first letter, have nothing to send back. Obviously we can use our own paper and envelope, but it feels like we're missing something here.

You should use your own stationery when writing back. The one teeny exception would be the Tic Tac Toe activity, as that would require multiple envelopes since you are sending the card back and forth! The Grandparent kit is meant to prompt correspondence between grandparent and grandchild with its whimsical questions and activities.
