Jerolyn Crute Sackman's first creative role model was her grandmother: "Although she never would have called herself an artist, she was a talented crafter: sewing clothing, crocheting, making collages, and cooking. It was wonderful when she would teach me." Growing up in Los Angeles, Jerolyn studied flowers and butterflies in the yard of her family home and began a lifelong love of science and nature that would later inspire her work as a graphic designer, illustrator, and fine artist.

Pretty poppy

Majorly disappointed

I bought this as a gift for my father for his birthday and was a mix of mortified and angry. This is the flimsy thing and not at all what I was expecting. My parents have several pinwheels in their backyard, which are sturdy and constructed of quality materials. This pinwheel is weak at best with crushed "petals" from shipping. That's where the anger sets in - knowing the price I paid, my expectations, and the product's insubstantial nature. I wish I had read the reviews since the material's production description wasn't unclear. At least the sunflower looks decent in comparison.

Beautiful Decor

#Sweepstakes I bought this as a gift for my grandmother, it's beautiful! The colors are so fun and blend so well together. The reason I rated it 4/5 stars is just due to expecting it not to be so fragile. I expected thicker "blades" on the wheel part, so I had to be careful not to ruin it or bend it. But i would recommend!

Didn't realize this was made of paper. Given the price I figured it would be more robust for an outdoor garden. It is a nice item but not for the cost.
