Great Christmas Gift
I love how you can customize this item. It would be such a special gift for people. You can use it as a Christmas, birthday or special occasion gift. It is also a great retro item! Anyone who ever used the viewfinder as a youngster will love it as an adult. Also for people who never had a viewfinder, it would be a unique item!

So Good, I'm Buying More for Christmas
I bought the Create Your Own Reel Viewer as an anniversary gift for my wife, and she absolutely loved it! The quality is fantastic and it felt so special to customize it with our own photos. Great nostalgic gift!
An old-school way to view photos - and even more awesome because of being able to create personalized reels. This was a fun gift to create and it was a hit for the birthday person and everyone else, too. I took off a star because of some difficulty with getting my reels ordered, but ultimately everything arrived in time for the birthday party as I had hoped/intended. The site warns about allowing enough time for processing and shipment - heed their warning!

After photo submission, can I have a finished reel shipped to Hong Kong?

The finished reels ship all over the world. Please note that many countries charge their citizens an import tax or duty fee for purchasing items outside of their country. These taxes are collected during the delivery by the shipper on behalf of the customs department (some countries also allow it to be paid online or over the phone). All countries are different, so we do not know the laws, tax percentages, or fees charged in your area. Therefore, we always recommend that customers outside of the USA research their local import fees and laws so that they are prepared.

How do I submit pictures to complete my purchase for the view master?

Once you physically receive your viewer, check inside the Reel Viewer box for a code to redeem one free reel. The code will be located on a card or on the included reel in the reel slot. Head over to their website that is on the card, create an account, and input the code. From there you will upload your images to create your reel.

When I submit the photos can I choose the order? For example, if I wanted the last photo to say, "Will you marry me?" Can I be ensured that would be last?

Great question, once you receive your Reel Viewer you would be prompt to a different vendor to set up the frames, the frames are able to be arranged the way you wish. Great idea!

Why does the Reel viewer say for ages over 13 years? It seems like the old Viewmasters could be used by younger ages. Is there something different about this one that could not be used by a 3 or 4 year-old?

The age recommendation is due to the nature of the gift. The gift is to be able to see photos of loved ones, or events. The viewmasters from back then were geared toward children because of the nature of the photos telling a story with animated characters. Besides that, there's no big difference. Great question!

can you have the viewfinders branded with company logo? Is there a minimum order of viewfinders and reels? Can you order a certain number of the same reel?
