Great nostalgic gift!
An old-school way to view photos - and even more awesome because of being able to create personalized reels. This was a fun gift to create and it was a hit for the birthday person and everyone else, too. I took off a star because of some difficulty with getting my reels ordered, but ultimately everything arrived in time for the birthday party as I had hoped/intended. The site warns about allowing enough time for processing and shipment - heed their warning!

Perfect!
I got this product as a gift for my partner's and my 7 year anniversary and his 40th birthday. The viewer works perfectly with the free reel I had made filled with seven photos from the seven years we've been together. The only part that stinks is the fact that I have to keep it a secret from him for four months until his birthday!! It's so wonderful that it makes me cry every time I use it.

I have bought this product several time - with good reason
This is a fun retro gift that is perfect for weddings, baby showers, birthays, etc. It is so easy to create wheels with fun photos. It is a gift I ALWAYS make for baby showers so kiddos will see what their parents looked like when they were babies. For weddings to see how the happy couples time line of how they met. Older people reflect fondly on this gift and the younger group marvels at how cool it is.

After photo submission, can I have a finished reel shipped to Hong Kong?

The finished reels ship all over the world. Please note that many countries charge their citizens an import tax or duty fee for purchasing items outside of their country. These taxes are collected during the delivery by the shipper on behalf of the customs department (some countries also allow it to be paid online or over the phone). All countries are different, so we do not know the laws, tax percentages, or fees charged in your area. Therefore, we always recommend that customers outside of the USA research their local import fees and laws so that they are prepared.

How do I submit pictures to complete my purchase for the view master?

Once you physically receive your viewer, check inside the Reel Viewer box for a code to redeem one free reel. The code will be located on a card or on the included reel in the reel slot. Head over to their website that is on the card, create an account, and input the code. From there you will upload your images to create your reel.

When I submit the photos can I choose the order? For example, if I wanted the last photo to say, "Will you marry me?" Can I be ensured that would be last?

Great question, once you receive your Reel Viewer you would be prompt to a different vendor to set up the frames, the frames are able to be arranged the way you wish. Great idea!

Why does the Reel viewer say for ages over 13 years? It seems like the old Viewmasters could be used by younger ages. Is there something different about this one that could not be used by a 3 or 4 year-old?

The age recommendation is due to the nature of the gift. The gift is to be able to see photos of loved ones, or events. The viewmasters from back then were geared toward children because of the nature of the photos telling a story with animated characters. Besides that, there's no big difference. Great question!

Some of the photos show reels with 14 images and the details mentioned that the real comes with seven. Exactly how many images come on the real that is included with the viewer?

Hi there! You'll see the same image directly across from one another because the way the viewer is designed requires you to look in with each of your eyes independently. Therefore, you need a left and right image for each frame, hence why you see 14 images.
