What Makes It Uncommon

You want to be a plant parent, but maybe that green thumb skipped a generation or your low-light office barely has enough room for you, never mind a messy, cumbersome pot. This sleek, minimalist air planter (complete with a duo of low-maintenance air plants) solves both of those problems. Handcrafted of cherrywood and sealed with clear, natural linseed oil (so the wood’s natural beauty shines through), this unique planter hangs on a wall, out of the way and without the need for soil. Just be sure to soak your new little botanicals every week to keep them strong and verdant.

  • Be sure to read instructions on how to prep air plants for their new home before hanging.
  • Hangs with hemp cord and requires a small nail (not included).
  • Measures 9"L x 4"W x .25"H.

Care

We recommend using a soft lint-free cloth to keep them clean. If you notice that the wood is losing it's sheen, you can also add a little natural linseed oil once a year to polish dull areas.
Soak plant in room temperature water for 20 to 30 minutes, gently shake and air dry (and possibly name) your plant before placing in your Air Plant Swing. If you live in an arid, hotter climate frequent watering or misting will be needed. Bright indirect light or a grow light is recommended. Air plants do best in 50 to 90 degrees. Swing & air plants should be brought inside before temperatures drop below 40 F. To maintain a healthy plant, soak your air plants once a week for 1 or 2 hours, gently shake off excess water & air dry.

Notes

Due to the delicate nature of living air plants, this item should be opened at the time of delivery. Plants should be unwrapped right away.

An Excellent addition to the office

This is my first time having air plants, and thought, I couldn't go wrong (no over watering, no killing!). They are amazing and I get compliments daily how they look. I have a peaceful picture hanging between them, so I get a lot of "It's so peaceful in your office". A great start to 2025!

Shelf is great, Air Plants Dead

Love the shelf. Maybe consider selling only the shelf without the plants. They arrived completely flat and dead. But I do love the shelf!

Really cute design

I got this for my son to maintain with my three-year old granddaughter. The design is really cute and looks great on the wall, and our little one loves helping to soak the plants but can't mess with the plants without daddy's help because they're wall-mounted! My only disappointment is that the two plants that arrived were very similar to each other and both very small/low-profile which diminished the visual impact relative to the ones online. I'm going to order some more air plants so they have some more options to display.

What size are the holes in the planter? I don't have enough natural light for the plants but might be able to find glass jars as inserts and use it to root low light cuttings.
