Prior to launching their company, Sarah and Nick struggled to sustain a kitchen garden in their fourth-floor Chicago apartment. Despite both honing their gardening skills as children, as busy adults they struggled to grow anything (container gardening is incredibly challenging). They turned to hydroponics for help and were astounded by the results, but unimpressed with the quality of products available. With that, the seed for their stylish, space-saving indoor gardens was planted.

When I gave her the amaryllis for a Thanksgiving hostess gift, she was tickled pink and grateful to receive it. The instructions were clear and helpful. The packaging was so safe and secure especially for live bulbs and a glass container and the shipping so speedy to prevent freezing. You have no idea how happy I was. So my daughter planted the bulb promptly so that it will probably bloom on time for Christmas. I'm thinking of finding a sm set of twinkling lights to put inside the clylinder and around the bulb for a really festive look!!

I had a brass mister from Smith & Hawkin which broke due to the cheep plastic pump and handle. Are there plastic parts in this one?
