Great product, I bought a second one!
I bought the bedside pocket to hold three important things: my phone, my reading glasses and my plastic jar of glucose tabs. I am a type 1 diabetic and I am on an insulin pump. There are occasions during the night when my blood sugars fall too low and to counteract these lows, I take one or two chewable glucose tabs to raise my blood sugars. Before purchasing this bedside pocket, this container was on my nightstand. I also have many other things on my nightstand. Needless to say, at times during the night as I reached for the container of tabs in the darkness, I would knock something over making a noise which would wake up my husband and then I would not be able to fall back to sleep because of the chaos in trying to reach my glucose tabs. Now, it's so easy! I just reach my hand down, open the jar, take out one or two tabs, close the jar while not opening my eyes. I bought the second pocket for my husband and he uses it for his phone and glasses. I bought the large sized pockets for both of us.

Love this
I found this while scrolling and thought why haven't I ever thought of this. My bedside table gets so crowded with glasses, remote, Kindle, earbuds, etc. I'm always stretching for items while the dog is across me & this is just a reach down. This is well made and definitely worth the money. I looked at other choices out there and glad I got this one. Good quality and size.

Perfect
This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. She loved it. It holds her electronics perfectly by her bed instead of on the floor.

Not quite what I thought it was
This is probably my mistake in not reading the description carefully. I thought it was going to be able to stand up on it's own and sit on a bedside table. In reality, it's flexible and needs to be supported. It's also a little bigger than I thought it was going to be. It's just like the description, but maybe not quite like the picture makes it look.

Practical and cute
I bought this for my daughter, who always has multiple books and her phone by her bed. This product is sturdy, fits securely between mattress and bed, and holds everything it needs to! It also blends in with her bedroom decor.

Such a cute and useful gift!
I gave this to a family member who has to rest a lot due to chronic pain. It was helpful for them to use for placement of items they need close by, like phone and reading glasses. Highly recommend! #sweepstakes

Perfect for all my wife's bedside tech
My wife has her phone, tablet, and usually a book with her in bed every night. Often, there would be a loud thud in the middle of the night as one of them would fall. This is a great solution.

Time and Space Saver
The Bedside Essentials Pocket helped me find a place to keep essential things close that I otherwise could not easily or gracefully fit bedside because of the small size of my bed and nightstand in a recently downsized bedroom/office combo. Remote, glasses, phone, ipad (with a cutout for cords), easily rest in the capacious yet unobtrusive pocket. It is also a handsome grey felt that is both attractive and subtle. Highly recommend.

Is the felt synthetic or wool? Allergic to wool. Thank you.

The pouch is made out of polyester and felt.

Will this work on a hospital bed where the top on the bed moves up and down? Or would it just slide out? Considering it as a gift for a family member that has a hospital type bed at home.
Verified reply from Melody
The flap can be tucked under the mattress, between it and whatever you use as its foundation, so as long as the whole mattress is not lifted, it should be fine!

will this work over the arm of a chair
Verified reply from Michelle
This will not work over the arm of a chair since the flap is stiff and sturdy. Best to place it under your couch cushion.

Does it have anything stiff, like cardboard, in the flap that goes under the mattress? Years ago home crafters made these from fabric scraps and made the under-mattress part as a pocket that a piece of cardboard could be slipped into to help hold it in place and make it easy to place and remove. Also could be machine washed and dried by removing the cardboard first.
Verified reply from Valerie
The materials are already very stiff, so no cardboard is needed. While this isn't machine washable, this can be hand washed with a damp cloth and warm soapy water.

the size of the 2 pockets inside the caddy?
Verified reply from Valerie
There are actually 4 compartments within the large pocket. There are two pockets against the back - each of these is 5" L. In front of those is an 11" L larger pocket, and beside all of those is a 4.5" L pocket. All of the pockets are 6" deep.
- Em
Small and large are not very descriptive. What are the dimensions of the two different sizes?
Verified reply from Colleen
Standard is 11.1" L x 8.7" W x 4.5" H and Large is 17" L x 8.5" W x 4.5" H

Does this have a hole for a cord in the bottom so this wouldwork for an electric blanket controller?
Verified reply from Marisa
No, it doesn't come with one, and we do not recommend making one and using it that way, due to the potential fire risk.

Would this work for a platform bed with a platform that extends 3 inches on all sides further than the mattress? How is this positioned for a sofa - under the legs when sitting?
Verified reply from Marisa
It wouldn't work with a bed like the one you describe. For sofas, the flap goes under the cushion. It wouldn't go under the legs, it would hang in front of them.

I ordered something similar to this from another company a few years ago. It slipped out from between the mattresses, causing it to look tacky and disfunctional. Is there a weight of some sort that will keep it from falling to the ground when Items get put into it?
Verified reply from Jen
I own this and love it, so I think I can help you out here. There's a flap that you stick between your box spring and mattress to keep the pocket in place - the weight of the mattress keeps everything in place. I find that I need to adjust the pocket (give it a little shove because some of the flap is exposed) in a tiny bit once a week or so, but I keep a lot of things in the pocket: a journal, a couple of magazines, a thick book, a remote, a few pens, and some chapstick. It's pretty stuffed. Hope that helps!

can a small laptop fit in the pouch
Verified reply from Marisa
Its measurements are 11.1" L x 8.7" W x 4.5" H, so as long as the laptop is slightly smaller than that, it will fit.
