What Makes It Uncommon

Fabricated from substantial 16-gauge steel, the palette receives a rich rust finish that will continue to deepen and even out over time, while hand-forged brushes add dimension, texture, and a sense of motion. Built and finished by hand, it brings gallery-worthy presence to a garden wall, porch, studio, or indoor living space.

Hand-forged brushes are welded in place for sculptural depth and lasting strength.
Rust finish is sealed with a clear coat and will continue to naturally patina over time.
Each piece will have slight variations in finish, coloration, and markings.
Comes ready to hang with a keyhole tab on the back.
Suitable for indoor or outdoor display.
Natural oxide and rust finishes should not be placed on light-colored stone or wood surfaces, as iron oxide can cause staining.

Aaron Earley and Jonathan Paschall lead a small team of artisans in Durham, North Carolina, creating sculptural steel pieces designed to live in real spaces. Working out of their shop, each piece is shaped by hand, balancing expressive, often playful form with structural integrity. Every object is built with long-term use in mind. Steel is heated, formed, welded, and finished through a process that prioritizes durability as much as design. The result is work that holds up to weather, time, and daily use, while bringing a distinct sense of character and beauty to the spaces it inhabits.
