What Makes It Uncommon

Puzzle fans and math geeks alike won’t be able to resist the allure of this numerical enigma. Based on an English model dating back to 1911, the brainteasing device challenges users to find a unique combination of numbers—and yes, there is only one possible solution.

  • Features a base ring topped by four rotating rings. The objective is to get each of the 16 columns of numbers to add up to 40 at the same time.
  • To heighten the challenge, the top rings are all notched, so they will expose or hide some of the numbers on the ring below as they are turned, making for multiple possible combinations.
  • Arrives unsolved, but comes with a picture of the solved puzzle.
  • Made of high-quality maple and cherrywood with laser-engraved numbers, the wheel fits nicely in the palm and is an attractive, intriguing addition to the family or living room.
  • Laser-cut and hand-assembled in Florida.

Challenging puzzle for all

Everyone who sees this puzzle gives it a spin. But solving it isn't as easy as they expect it to be so they end up coming back to it again and again. Great puzzle.

Doesn't actually open

I got this gift for a friend of mine and it doesn't open when solved. So there's no reward for solving. It's also the size of my hand

Neat but very small

The item is a cool idea but much smaller than expected. It basically fits in the palm of my hand. Somehow I expected it to be bigger, especially for this price. Still - cool gift though.
