Packaging Ruined Lamp

This would be a great, cool lamp (I got it for my teenaged son), were it not for the packaging tape and STICKER plastered on the surfaces. While removing the tape it tore the blue coating on the lamp, and then the LARGE sticker with directions on how to remove the tape (which were, um, ineffective), was absolutely impossible to remove. I had to use a SCOURING pad which then left scratches on that entire side. Two thumbs down.

How long do the LED lights work in this lamp? Is it something that can be replaced when light burns out?

LED lights work up to 30,000 hours and it doesn't look like you can open the item to replace the bulb.
