When Marc Brown and his wife moved to San Francisco, their first winter in the city was a real Bay Area season: all fog, rain, and wind. As Marc walked the streets, elegant ladies and determined businesswomen would suddenly appear out of the fog, but all he could see were ugly umbrellas with broken ribs, failing to keep the rain off their owners. There had to be something better, he thought—and when he started his own umbrella company, there was.

Great umbrella for a dog lover.
Great umbrella. Lots of breed and color choices. Although I thought the color was more lilac ish from the photo, it was really more silver. I'm guessing the other, darker colors were more true to color. Gift receiver loved it!
