Some say music is the food of love, which is very poetic, but you can’t eat a power ballad. We think the real food of love is…well, food. And it doesn’t get more romantic than preparing an exquisite meal together—especially when the menu includes fabled aphrodisiac ingredients. Join
Chef Mark Kalix for a live virtual class in which you and your significant other will learn amorous cooking secrets that will heat up your night and inspire you to experiment with other arousing dishes.
A creative and sensual way to celebrate, this experience makes a delicious gift to a partner or your favorite couple. Leave time after class to turn the lights down low and spoon into your mousse together. Something tells us this will be one night in you’ll never forget.
- The evening starts with mixing a Bee’s Knees cocktail that includes elements linked with love since antiquity: honey, lavender, and lemon (you’ll learn how to make this nonalcoholic too).
- Next, Mark will teach you to turn that most classic of aphrodisiacs—chocolate—into a decadent mousse that will tease your tongues with a red-hot touch of cayenne pepper.
- While your dessert chills in the fridge, you’ll craft a succulent salad entrée of avocado, grapefruit, and fennel. Along the way, Mark will share his expert techniques and explain the purported passionate properties of each ingredient.
